Enjoying the Outdoors

I've been somewhat lax in updating my blog. My only excuse is that I'm spending more time outside -- gardening, cutting the grass and generally reveling in the warmth after a very crappy winter. We've bounced straight into the hot weather. Today it's 30 degrees celsius (86 fahrenheit); way too hot for me, so I'm back indoors. I'll post something new in the next day or two. Until then, enjoy the sunshine if you have it.

We're having "October in June" here. Or as a friend of Raggs put in, "Junuary." I guess it's good for the plants, even if it's not as much fun to garden in Gortex with your hood up.

"Junuary". Perfect. I suppose it's much better than floods. It would be nice if we could marry our two climates. We've got another hot day here, but this past winter, I promised not to complain (too much) once the heat moved in.
