Happy belated Mother's Day, all.

And, with the local news reports here in NY headlining a story of an abandoned baby that was found yesterday -- I'd say these wonderful moms of the animal kingdom *deserve* to be *fully* recognized.

Thanks, Heidi. I was actually childless on Mother's Day 'cause my daughter is away in Cleveland with her school band.

Georgie, the same thing happened in Toronto during the winter -- an infant left in a cold stairway (the child is fine, but they still haven't found the parents.

Wow, NT, that blogger certainly has me beat in the cute department. Thanks for linking them -- viewing critters is a great way to start the day!
