Mothers in the animal kingdom are so under-appreciated -- they probably never get a Mother's Day card. So let's salute the hardworking furry and feathered moms of the world.
And, with the local news reports here in NY headlining a story of an abandoned baby that was found yesterday -- I'd say these wonderful moms of the animal kingdom *deserve* to be *fully* recognized.
Georgie, the same thing happened in Toronto during the winter -- an infant left in a cold stairway (the child is fine, but they still haven't found the parents.
