Last September, I wrote about a stray cat that I took to the OSPCA. While volunteering at the centre for the past few months, Wesley (as he now named) and I have become pretty close. Although I'll miss him terribly, I'm happy to report that he is now available for adoption. You can read the update on Wesley here, on my other blog, Take Me Home.

Hope Wesley and friends find loving homes soon.
Me too, Georgie!
Oh, I hope he finds a LOVELY home.
Yay Wesley! And that's an awesome name. Finding a new home is always good news.
I know how much of a cat-lover you are, Devon. Are you sure you can't make the trip up here to adopt Wesley?
Funny you should say that about his name, NT. At first, I didn't like it, but now can't imagine him being named anything else.
I would have a hard time working there. I'd wanna take them all home. I don't think ol Nigel would like that at his age, though.
(His name was Manny at the pound. He became Nigel very quickly!)
It is hard to see all the animals needing homes, Heidi, and I do want to take them all with me. Like Nigel, my cat just wouldn't put up with it, but with Wesley, I was sorely tempted to sneak him in the door.
This work can be so emotionally hard. You're a special person for opening your heart and helping.
Hope you don't mind, but we've tagged you for the Honest Scrap Award. : ) It's an award for people who display transparency and honesty in their blogs.
Thanks so much, Karen, for the honor.
